April and Chaum Spehar are the second generation of a small family business that has been handcrafting jewelry and ornaments in Corvallis since 1972. Having grown up with the business, Chaum learned the integral skills of the craft early on. He and April have operated the business together since graduating from the University of Oregon in 1997.

Their work features combinations of brass, bronze, copper, nickel silver, stainless steel, aluminum and sterling silver. They cut these metals into various shapes and lengths before brazing them together with an oxygen-acetylene torch, further refining each piece using pliers, hammers, mandrels and drills. April and Chaum are dedicated to continuous design innovation and expanding our technical abilities.

They take great pride in managing every aspect of their production, from initial design to final creation and find great fulfillment in collaborating across all phases of their work and operating their business together from their home.
