Scott Moss is a photographer, painter and writer living in Corvallis, Oregon. He makes portraits of residents of Corvallis on an analog camera and enjoys the zen-like patience and attention to detail of film photography. He also creates Japanese-inspired circle paintings called Concordia, which means harmony in Latin. The paintings take 22 minutes each, 20 minutes of meditation, and 2 minutes of setup and painting. They are meant to embrace Lao Tzu’s quote, “I have only three things to teach: simplicity, patience and compassion.” Scott has also started doing illustrations of mushrooms in colored pencil.

Scott has written three books, the most recent called The Book of No Self, published by Apocryphile Press. His other two books are Disappearances: The Infinite Remanifested, and Auction (Poems), published by Leiden Press.
